Notes To My Beans

The day to day tales of my life with the beans

Cycle 1 / CD9 – Grow little follies

Ugh, between a car alarm going off while I was falling asleep, papaBeaner tossing and turning, and a rainy morning, I have a feeling today isn’t going to be my day.

5:00am – Up and at ’em … I guess.

5:40am – Out the door. Luckily the drive is pretty much a straight line.

5:48am – Arrive and get lucky #7, which is only really lucky if you don’t have to be out if here by 6:40. Sigh.

6:08am – Only 2 people have been called .. what’s going on here? I saw someone that looks like the doctor and I know the tech is here. Is needle lady MIA? Meanwhile more people keep showing up.

6:18am – Not much progress and only 1 seat left in the waiting room. Awesome.

6:21am – Finally called into the exam room. Geez! Wonder how long this will take.

6:22am – Dr. wavyHairDude again. I’ve already forgotten the lining size but it looks like stuff is happening and I have 4 11mm follies, 2 on each side. Sweet! Hopefully one takes the lead during the next visit.

6:26am – Back in the waiting room before needle lady calls my name. I actually get a smile from her, which is unprecedented! This deposit hurts a little more than usual, which might mean it’s time to switch arms.

6:30am – I make my exit towards the car.

6:37am – Home sweet home. I get an awesome present and find that the ceiling tile and insulation in the garage has fallen on my parking spot. Well I suppose it could be worse, it could have fallen while my car was parked under it. Quickly pick up the bean to start the day. Coffee is definitely in my near future.

Of course, now that I’m seeing progress I’m wondering if it’s too much too soon. The last thing I want is to have to cancel this cycle because too many follies are growing. And I’m sure the last thing papaBeaner wants is to trigger when there are 2 mature follies. I guess we’ll have to leave it in the hands of the doctors to decide.
